Nell Mooney (Weird Hot Office Girl)

Nell Mooney has been seen in the feature films "September 11" from director Mira Nair and in "Ballroom Nights" as Rumi. On television, Nell guest starred on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live" as Becka and was also featured on an episode of the CBS soap opera "As the World Turns". In spring 2005, Nell received glowing reviews for her performance in the off-Broadway rock musical "Gorilla Man" at Performance Space 122; she subsequently performed with the cast of the show at the 2005 OBIE Awards. On stage, Nell was also seen in the off-Broadway show "No. 11 Blue and White" from director Daniel Aukin.

Nell's theater credits include two turns at the Circle Rep in New York City in "Reap the Wild Historian" and "Pre-Nups", along with appearances at regional theaters including the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Luna Stage, the Source Theatre, the Signature Theatre, the Saxtons River Playhouse, and in the Helen Hayes Award winning production of "HAIR" at the Studio Theater in Washington D.C.

As well, Nell is a professional ballroom dancer with specialties in swing, salsa, and tango and has been seen at performances all over New York City including Lincoln Center and Irving Plaza. Nell has also worked behind the scenes, teaching the dance program for the feature film "Mad Hot Ballroom".

Nell received her BFA from Rutgers (Mason Gross) and trained at the London Academy of Theatre. She has also trained with such notables as Vanessa Redgrave.
